The European Foundry Industry Sentiment Index (FISI), published monthly by European Foundry Federation, marked a decrease by 1.5 point in August 2025, reaching a level of 95.1 points. There was a decline in the production of cast iron castings and castings made of non-ferrous metals. The only material that recorded a positive trend in the last month was cast steel. As for expectations for the coming months, the research indicates a continuation of this trend.
